June 11 - 17, 2017 Appointments dipped again this week, down 12.1% over last week. However we did see our Sold/Appointment ratio drop back down to 11.9 appointments on average per property sold - much lower than the 18.9 appointments last week. Hamilton East and Mountain dominated our Top 5 districts, with Upper Stoney Creek claiming the 5th spot. Top price ranges continue to remain steady in Hamilton and Burlington with minimal shifting of positions. Overall appointments have decreased 24.2% over June 2016, as we hit the middle of the month.
June 4-10, 2017 Last week saw appointments dip by 11.1%, and a marked jump in our Sold/Appointment ratio - from 11.2 the previous week to 18.9 appointments on average per property sold during the week. Hamilton was the name of the game in 3 of our Top 5 Districts, with Grimsby and Stoney Creek also highlighted. The $1-2M price range is still tops in Burlington, with popular Hamilton price ranges remaining steady. Overall appointments so far in June are 18.2% lower than last year.

May 28 - June 3, 2017 When compared on a daily average, last week in the appointment centre saw a negligable 3.74% decrease in the number of appointments over the previous week. The story this week really is the Sold/Appointment Index, which has dropped to 11.2 appointments on average per property sold during the week - Buyers last week were definitely motivated! Our Top 5 Districts saw much tied activity with Flamborough and Toronto coming out as the Top 2. May 21 - 27, 2017 When we seasonally adjust the weekly appointments for the Victoria Day Holiday closure, appointments saw an increase of 12% over last week. Popular districts ranged from Toronto, to Glanbrook, to Waterdown, with sprinkles of Hamilton East, Centre and Mountain - the reach of RE/MAX Escarpment agents is growing within the outlying areas. Price ranges in Hamilton remain steady, while Burlington continues to see the $1M-2M price range most popular, with a bit of a dip with the $450-500k appearing in our Top 5. May 14 - 20, 2017 Activity last week was quieter than usual, with the week starting with Mother’s Day, and ending with the Victoria Day long weekend. The Sold/Appointment Index remained steady, and the daily appointment counts all stayed under 400 appointments per day. Mississauga tied for the top spot in our Top 5 Districts, while Brant is also showing tremendous activity. Hamilton Mountain cleaned up otherwise, with 4 districts ranking in our Top 5. Overall price points showed continued activity in Hamilton between $250k-$500k, and the top price range in Burlington remained $1M-$2M for the 8th week in

May 7 - 13, 2017 Appointments are gradually increasing, with our totals up 6.9% over last week. Our SOLD/APPOINTMENT Index has risen slightly, at 18.17 appointments on average per property sold during the week. Brantford makes an entrance to our Top 5 Districts, while top price points in both Hamilton and Burlington remain steady. Overall, appointments are down 19.4% over May 2016, potentially due to the unpredictable weather. May 2016 saw the highest number of appointments booked ever in a month in the appointment centre, so it remains to be seen if 2017 will meet and exceed those numbers.
