What's happening in the Appointment Centre? July 5 – 11

The Appointment Centre found its stride again this past week, and that's exactly what you'd expect to see as the market settles back into its normal rhythm. We booked 3,263 appointments, up 6.8% from last week, while new listings climbed from 330 to 379 and sales jumped from 294 to 334. That's the kind of movement you like to see—not just more activity, but activity that's translating into results.

What stands out most isn't simply the increase in appointments. It's the improvement in efficiency. Our Appointment-to-Sold Index improved from 10.4 to 9.8 appointments per sale, meaning buyers are making decisions sooner and our appointments are producing stronger outcomes. In other words, we're seeing quality activity, not just busy phones.

Looking back to the same week last year, appointments were just slightly lower (3,263 versus 3,380), but the market actually delivered more sales and more new listings than it did a year ago. That's an encouraging sign. Buyers are still engaged, sellers are coming to market, and transactions are keeping pace despite a market that's become more measured than the frenzy we experienced in previous years.
