What’s happening in the Appointment Centre? March 15–21

March Break usually disrupts momentum, but only sidelines the trend for one week. Every year (except a minor 2025 blip) sales drop during March Break. Buyers don’t all disappear, some paused but others took advantage of the lull and purchased (RE/MAX EN’s sales/listing ratio of 105%).

Sellers are regaining leverage with more showings and some competition. March Break is now a strategic entry point which allows preparation during break which leads to action immediately after. 

March Break didn’t slow the market, it delayed a surge that was already building with the rare 6 weeks of consecutive growth in appointments prior to the break.
